Overview
In Canny Ideas, the Scan with Autopilot Zapier action sends content to Canny Autopilot for feedback extraction. Approved suggestions create ideas on your Ideas dashboard, letting you feed feedback from any Zapier-connected source directly into Ideas.
The Zapier integration is available on Pro and Business plans.

The Scan with Autopilot Zapier action sends content to Canny Autopilot for feedback extraction. Approved suggestions create ideas on your Ideas dashboard.
This makes Zapier a powerful bridge for any feedback source that doesn't have a native Canny integration — survey responses, review platforms, email tools — all can feed ideas via the Scan with Autopilot action.

Available Zapier actions
The following Zapier actions work in Ideas mode:
Create or Update User — user sync
Scan with Autopilot — creates ideas via Autopilot
Post-based triggers and actions (New Post, New Vote, Post Status Change, Create Post, etc.) only fire for accounts that have a portal alongside Ideas. Ideas-only accounts with no portal will not trigger these.
Things to note
For use cases not supported by Zapier, you can use the Canny API directly.
