Overview
Connect Zoom as an Autopilot source to automatically detect feature requests in your Zoom call transcripts. Autopilot processes cloud-recorded calls and surfaces identified requests in the Autopilot inbox.
Zoom is available on all plans, including Free.
✨ Using Canny Ideas? When Ideas is enabled, Autopilot creates Ideas from your Zoom calls instead of portal posts — turning sales and customer calls into structured internal product signals. See Zoom Integration — Ideas
Setting up the integration
Before you begin, you'll need an admin with permission to manage integrations in Canny and a Zoom Pro or Business account with cloud recording enabled.
Go to the Zoom settings page in Canny and click Install Zoom.
Accept the permissions.
Transcripts from the previous 30 days will be processed within a day of connecting.
How it works
Autopilot processes Zoom transcripts and surfaces identified feature requests in the Autopilot inbox as suggestions to create new feedback or add votes to existing posts.
See Autopilot — Portal for full details on working through the inbox.
Removing the integration
Zoom can be disabled as a source or fully disconnected at any time. Disconnection must be done from the Zoom App Marketplace: go to Manage → Added Apps, find the Canny app, and click Remove.
Things to note
Calls must be recorded to the cloud for Canny to access the transcript.
A Zoom Pro or Business subscription is required — the integration does not work on Zoom's Free plan.
Each Zoom transcript uses 5 Autopilot credits on legacy plans (Growth and older Business customers). Current plans (Pro, and new Business customers) have unlimited Autopilot credits.
The Create audio transcript setting must be enabled in Zoom for Canny to access audio transcripts.
