Overview

Canny allows you to test out paid features by trying a paid plan. At the end of that trial, you have two options to proceed:

  • Continue on a paid plan

  • Move to the Free plan

How to continue on a paid plan

Before you begin, Owner-level admin permissions in Canny are required to alter your billing subscription.

When the trial is over, you’ll be prompted to go to the Billing page in your general settings to select your plan. Just click the “Go To Billing” button:

In order to stay on the paid plan of your choice, you will need to add your credit card on the billing page. This is the card that will be charged each month. You also have the option to select a different plan:

Moving to the Free plan

To remain on the Free plan, you will need to select “End trial” on the Billing page in your general settings:

You may be prompted to make some changes to comply with the Free plan's limitations. Just follow the prompts! You can learn more about Canny’s billing plans here.

Things to note:

  • To trial the Business plan, please reach out to Canny support by starting a chat or email sales@canny.io

  • If you need an extension for an existing trial, open a chat with support.

    • Note that the Canny bot cannot do this, so be sure you select the '[Talk to a person ]' button

  • Starter and Growth plans are only payable via credit card

  • You can view our current pricing and plan information on our pricing page at canny.io/pricing.
