NO. If you set up Canny Identify to identify your users in your application, then your users will not need to create their own free Canny user profile! 😃

If you do not set up Canny Identify, then users will be prompted to create a free Canny user profile in order to leave feedback on your product.

You can also set up an SSO redirect in order to have users come to your site to be verified before being redirected back to Canny after being identified.

To identify your users, Canny only requires you to provide users' name, email address, and user ID. This way, when they leave feedback, it's linked to the data in your system and you're easily able to follow up with them.
