Canny sends various types of emails to both admins and end-users. These emails are triggered by specific events. Below, you'll find a detailed guide to all Canny messages. Click any email title to learn more!

Things to note:

  • Every plan includes all messages. The only exception is the changelog email, which is limited to paid plans.

  • You have the option NOT to notify users with a status change email when updating the post status.

  • Admin report emails can be sent daily (by default), or weekly. They can also be disabled fully from the Email preferences page in your Canny settings.

  • All emails come from notifications@canny.io.
